Silverlined Mudskipper (Periophthalmus argentilineatus) - Extreme close-up on a rock in Galle Sri Lanka. These Mudskippers are found over a huge area of coastline from the southern Red Sea to South Africa, and then east to the Marianas and Samoa; north to Ryukyu Islands (Japan), south to western Australia, and finally west to Oceania.

The crew identified this as a Whale Shark off Marissa - The Whale Shark (Rhincodon typus) has a mottled skin, including its dorsal fin, so this is an unlikely identification.

A Basking Shark (Cetorhinus maximus) off Marissa. It swims at about 3 km per hour. It is a filter-feeding shark and the second largest known fish species in existence.
